André Chameides graduated from the University of St.Gallen in 1999 with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. During his studies, he also completed a one-year program at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) in Paris in the fields of political science, economics and sociology.
He began his career in 2000 as a consultant at the Estin & Co strategy consultancy in Paris. He joined the Zurich-based Hotelplan Group in 2001, where he remained until 2010. He was initially appointed at the corporate group level, as Controller, then Deputy Head of Controlling and finally Business Development Manager. In 2007, he took on the position as Head of Finance at Travelhouse, a group subsidiary; in 2009 he was appointed as Business Development Manager at Interhome, another group subsidiary.
In 2010, André Chameides joined the Global Blue group, based at their headquarters in Nyon/Eysins, where he established and led the group-wide Strategy Project Office. In 2013, he relocated to Singapore to take on the leadership of the Finance function for the Asia Pacific region, where he remained until 2015.
Upon his return to Switzerland in 2016, he joined Zurich-based Kuoni Global Travel Services as Head of Corporate Development, before moving to Geneva-based Unilabs in 2017, where he led the group M&A function for seven years. Since April 2025, he has been working in the Knowledge and Information Management (ASWI) sector of SAS.
